As of Monday, November 6, 2006, all faculty and staff at Comfrey Public School have a two-year CPR certification. During a scheduled workshop day on November 6, Debra Huhn, a professional CPR trainer from Sleepy Eye, spent the morning demonstrating and testing her "students" on CPR and first aid methods. This included the use of a defibrillator. Debra was assisted by Rachel Evers of Comfrey and Randy Nohl from the Sleepy Eye Police Department.
